View Results

Description

The view results screen provides a scan listing for all available scans. The following information is provided for each scan:

• Date and Time
• Template used
• Scan group
• Scan server
• Action

The action column provides access to the summary report for each scan. The summary report provides access to results and basic information for a scan. The following summary information is displayed:

• Scan started
• Scan completed
• Total files found
• Total file size

The report also displayed the number of files and the total file size per computer. Double clicking on a computer row will load a detailed view of the files and their details found. Any scan errors are also displayed in this report.

The 'View Results' screen also allows you to generate reports across multiple scans. This report allows you to configure the following report filters:

• File name
  • Containing text
  • Bad words
• Date created
  • Before
  • After
• Date modified
  • Before
  • After
• File size
  • Larger than
  • Smaller than
• Computer name

How to use

To view a report go to the 'Action' column and click on 'View summary'. This will show automatically generate and display the summary report. The 'Delete scan' option will delete the scan, and all of its results and return you to the 'View Results' screen. If a scan was set not to store its results permanently it is possible to save the results by clicking the 'Keep Scan results' button. Selecting Clicking the 'Generate report from…' button will bring you to the report filter screen. Configure the options you require, clicking 'Apply' will automatically generate and display the report.
