Templates

Description

Templates allows for the creation and editing of scan templates. Templates define how, where and what iQFileScan searches for. You can configure the following information for each template:

• File Location
  • Specific paths
  • All drives
• Recursive
  • Search all sub folders
• File Types
  • All files
  • Specific extensions
    • User specified
    • Standard file types
      • Picture
      • Video
      • Documents
      • Music
      • Compressed files
      • Spreadsheets
  • Renamed files
    • Files that have been renamed from the following formats
      • Images (Jpg, Png, Gif)
      • Compressed (Zip, Rar)
      • Video (Mpeg, Avi, Divx, Xvid, Wmv)
      • Audio (Mp3, Wma)
      • Executables
  • Files containing 'Bad Words'
• File Details
  • Date created
    • Before
    • After
  • Date modified
    • Before
    • After
  • File size
    • Larger than
    • Smaller than
  • Containing text
    • Specific text
    • Bad words
• Email alerts
• Result lifespan

How to use

To create a new template specify the template name and select the options you require. Clicking 'Next' will bring you through the required steps to create a scan. To edit a template select the 'Use an existing….' Option and continue through the wizard as normal.

Clicking 'apply' will save any changes.
