Assigned Licenses

Description

Allows individual licenses to be assigned to specific computers. Computers are listed along with the following information:

• Installed
  • Whether the software is currently installed on the computer
• Licensed
  • Whether the computer currently has a license for the selected application
• Usage
  • The software usage for the selected application

Computers that do not have licenses assigned, but do have the software installed are included in the licensing reports for HTML and email options.

How to use

To assign a license or licenses to an application, select the required application and click on the 'Licensed' column for the required computer. If the application is installed on a computer, and there is not license assigned, the row will appear in red. Again if the application is licensed but not installed the row will appear red as this could be a wasted license. You can also update the number of licenses available for an application entering in the new license count and clicking the 'Update' button.

The 'Automatically assign licenses' button allows you to assign all of the available licenses to a specific application, or assign all available licenses. Once a license is assigned it is removed from the license pool, it is not possible to assign it to another computer without removing it from the current assignee.

Clicking 'apply' will save any changes.
