Auto-Detection
Description Auto-detection is a scheduled search of your network to find new computers that have joined. It can be scheduled to run at a set interval of between 10 minutes and 2 hours (recommended for large networks).
Auto-detection can check either a specified domain or all domains. It can also be configured to check a target computer group (this can contain domains, computers and IP addresses). It is also possible to automatically create a scan based on the discovery.
How to use To enable an auto-detection enable the top 'Yes' option and pick the interval you require using the slider. You can then select the type of discovery to use either:

Finally you can enable the automatic scanning of discovered machines and the template you wish to use.
Clicking 'apply' will save any changes. |
