Description

iQNetScan supports the following database products:

• MySQL (5.x recommended)
• SQL Server (2005 recommended)
• Oracle (Oracle 10g recommended)

iQNetScan also uses as simple file based database for demo purposes; this is not supported for live installations.

How to use

To configure the following database types you must fill in the following information:

• MySQL
  • Database server
  • Database schema
  • Credentials

• SQL Server
  • Database server
    • For 2005 this must be in the format Server\Instance
  • Database name
  • Credentials
• Oracle
  • Database server
  • Database SID
  • Credentials

Once the above information has been provided you can now click the 'Test' button. This will ensure that the correct details have been provided. If the database is clean, you will be notified that the service will create all the required tables when it restarts. Clicking 'apply' will save any changes and restart the service and application.
