Standards

Description

Allows for the creation of custom software standards that can be applied to computer groups. Software can be marked as mandatory (Antivirus) or prohibited (Peer 2 Peer) or Ignored (Default). Software can be classified based on its risk level.

Software standards are applied to the relevant group at the end of a scan. Breaches of standards are recorded in HTML reports and email alerts.

How to use

To create a standard enter in the name in the top drop down box and use the '+' button to save it. Once you have created the standard you can mark the mandatory and prohibited applications for it. To mark applications prohibited using their risk level, simply check the required risk check boxes and use the 'Update' button to update the current template.

It is recommended to mark the commonly required and prohibited applications such as Antivirus and Peer2Peer applications in the default standard so they are automatically applied to each computer.

Clicking 'apply' will save any changes.
