iQSonar for Oracle
iQSonar from iQuate is an enterprise software platform engineered to gather all of the data required to accurately establish Oracle license requirements. It is entirely agentless, multi-platform and understands low level hardware details, physical and virtual mapping and even cloud infrastructure. iQSonar is the most accurate platform for gathering the facts needed for an Oracle License Review across complex, physical, virtual and cloud based environments.
Database & Middleware
iQSonar has been verified by LMS as providing the data necessary to support license reviews of Oracle database, options and packs.
As a software-based solution, iQSonar delivers a level of consistency and guaranteed accuracy that is not possible from a manual based approach.
iQuate has developed additional capabilities for several middleware products:
- iAS Standard Edition
- iAS Enterprise Editions
- WebLogic Application Server (Standard and Enterprise Editions)
- WebLogic Integration Server
- WebLogic Portal Server
- Tuxedo
iQSonar also has capabilities supporting several options and enhancements for the middleware stack, including:
- Service Bus
- SOA Suite for Oracle Middleware
Product Adapters
iQSonar’s unique, flexible software design means that as Oracle continues to develop and acquire technology, iQSonar keeps pace with the requirements of customers to rapidly deliver information from new and emerging technologies on an ongoing basis.
iQSonar was not built specifically for discovery of Oracle database – or of any Oracle product. It was built to allow large, enterprise customers gather the data they need from the multitude of devices and applications on their network. We recognized that Oracle customers had a particular requirement for this data and so, using iQSonar’s Product Adaptor functionality, built specific Oracle-focused capabilities.
iQSonar’s Product Adapter functionality means that additional protocols, commands and “transformation” knowledge can easily be added to iQSonar’s core platform, which offers excellent security, credential management, data lineage, change history, user interfaces and export APIs.
